While in college pursuing an elementary education degree, Megan White’s plans for a future in the classroom took a serious detour. “I made some connections with people from 1st Service Solutions, we became friends, and I changed my career path completely. It has definitely been a better fit for me,” she says.

“When I learned what CMBS was and how it worked, I wanted to learn more,” she says. “And after I met the people, I would be working with at 1st Service Solutions, I knew it was a good fit. As an Asset Manager I focus on the assumptions and consents and help with handling the day-to-day discussions and negotiations of these details. It’s a great opportunity to help others maintain possession of their property and meet their financial obligations.”

After having attended North Central Texas College, Megan transferred to Brigham Young University where she first began studying elementary education. “Yes, that’s what I studied, but what I learned was the importance of really listening to what people need—that’s the same whether it’s a 6-year-old learning to read or a CMBS client needing someone to help them through a rough spot. “

Megan’s four nieces and nephews are her outlet for fun and adventure. As the ‘cool aunt’ to her crew, she makes it a priority to spend as much time with each of them as possible as well as her other family members in the area. When she’s not with her local family, Megan loves the to travel, especially road trips that allow her to take in the sights and scenery on the way to her destination. She lists Maine, Rhode Island, and Georgia as her favorite locations to date, but is always looking forward to adding new favorites to her ongoing travel list.
