There’s a saying used in every pool hall around the country, “Rack Em Up!” It’s what one player says to the other and it simply means to prepare the table for a new game of pool. I’ve always been intrigued by the phrase “Rack ‘Em Up.” Then I learned the phrase is used in effigy to mean, rack up my winnings or losses. I truly believe that phrase can be used in the world of CMBS. With the number of staggering losses which are now hitting the bond stack at levels never before thought imaginable, the term “Rack ‘Em Up” fits nicely, not only in your local pool hall, but in halls of commercial real estate. Just saying!
