Nick Johnson

Managing Director

As the Managing Director, Nick could best be described as a reluctant renaissance man. His degree from the University of North Texas in Marketing was just the beginning of his journey to fully understanding the many aspects of consumer behavior. In addition to making sense out of the numbers, the stats, and the constantly changing algorithms of all the digital media platforms he manages for our team, he also works to remain acutely aware of consumer behavior, trends, and triggers for our unique client niche. More often than not, Nick knows what our clients (and future clients) want and need before they do because he understands the peripheral factors that impact the industry so well.

Aside from the analytical aspect of his position, Nick harbors a self-taught creative side that includes mastery in graphic design, computer programming, website design, and more. “I like to think that I take a lot of complex, complicated information and simplify it into an easy-to-understand, easy-to-process final product,” he says. “We’re all about helping people here and that begins with helping them understand the terms and conditions of what are always significant investments of their time and their money. We make it our job to help our clients steer clear of the pitfalls while reaching their potential.”

Nick is also responsible for managing the sales team and overseeing the OMX deals from the initial contact with the client until the deal is closed. He does this by cultivating long-standing relationships with capital providers and by connecting clients to opportunities within the 1st Service Solutions pipeline. “Connecting our clients with the capital they need is a lifeline for their investment,” Nick says.

Nick’s experience as a personal trainer in college earned him a spot on the Denton Raiders, a semi-professional football team, for two years before graduating. Never one to sit still too long, Nick still enjoys lifting weights, a practice he says allows him “to keep up with my two awesome boys!”
